本周一（2018年4月16日 10:00-11:30）将进行特邀学术报告会，我们非常有幸邀请到德国马尔堡大学药学院及德国马普所心肺所药理学Thomas Worzfeld教授来做“Semaphorin-plexin信号通路在上皮组织再生以及肿瘤中的作用”的报告。报告的简介如下：
Semaphorins constitute a family of secreted or membrane-bound cues that regulate key cellular functions. The effects of semaphorins are mediated by a group of transmembrane receptors called plexins. The semaphorin-plexin-system controls crucial processes in mammalian physiology and pathophysiology, and represents a novel pharmacological target for drugs to prevent or treat various diseases. In this talk, the role of the semaphorin-plexin-system in epithelial biology with a particular focus on epithelial repair mechanisms, and invasion and metastasis of epithelial cancers will be discussed.
